- 1 c. mashed potatoes
- 1 c. milk, heated then cooled
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 cake yeast
- 1 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 c. flour
Directions

1Mix all ingredients, except flour, then add flour.

2Let it rise until double in size.

3Punch down; knead again.

4Let rise again until double in size.

5Cover dough with warm wet towel, then roll out dough.

6Cut into rolls.

7Let rolls rise on pan until double again.

8Bake in oven for 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.
