  • 4 cups salt
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 5 lemons
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 cups orange juice
  • 1 handful garlic cloves
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 turkey

    Boil water add all ingredients add frozen turkey or not... brine should be cold though.... however frozen turkey can act as a giant ice cube

    This brine is fun because it is easy. I don't think a lot of people understand the importance of the brine. Let marinate overnight
