Directions

1Place pecans in a bowl.

2Sprinkle with salt and add water to cover pecans.

3Soak for 30 minutes, stirring twice.

4Drain on paper towels for 2 hours.

5Place on large cookie sheet.

6Bake at 300° for about 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes and watching carefully to keep from burning.
