1Lightly butter a cookie sheet and spread with pecans.

2Heat sugar and butter over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture reaches 320° on candy thermometer.

3Pour mixture over pecans.

4Let stand 5 minutes, then sprinkle chocolate chips on top.

6Cool completely and break into small pieces.
