  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 c. coconut
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts

Directions

    Cream the shortening, salt and brown sugar. Add the flour and blend.

    Press into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Bake at 325° for 15 minutes.
