Ingredients

  • 1 lb tomatillos
  • 2 jalapenos
  • 1 medium yellow onion
  • 4 clove garlic
  • 1 salt
  • 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp cilantro
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 olive oil, extra virgin

    Preheat oven to 400.

    Cover long cooking sheet with foil.

    Remove husks from tomatillos, halve, and place on foil.

    Quarter onion and place on foil.

    Halve and deseed jalapenos.

    Place on foil.

    Remove garlic and place whole on foil.

    Lightly drizzle oil on tomatillos, jalapenos, garlic, and onion.

    Lightly sprinkle with salt.

    Cook in oven for approximately 30 minutes or until skins start to blacken.

    Juice lime into blender.
