Tomato Salad

Ingredients

  • 6 3/4 cups tomatoes various types of, differing in size and color
  • 1 shallots
  • 1 slice bread homemade, or bloomer loaf
  • black olives
  • 1 bunch basil leaves
  • extra-virgin olive oil
  • ground black pepper Freshly
  • sea salt

Directions

    With a sharp knife, cut the tomatoes and shallots in very fine slices.

    Make a bunch with the basil leaves and finely cut with scissors. Set aside.

    Dice the bread into croutons of 1 centimeter and toast until golden brown. Set aside.

    Arrange the tomatoes on a serving plate.

    Sprinkle over the shallots, croutons, olives and basil.

    Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

    Serve immediately.
