- 1 c. corn flake crumbs (about 4 c. corn flakes before crushing)
- 6 large tomatoes
- salt
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
Directions

1Cut tomatoes crosswise into halves.

2Place cut side up in shallow baking pan.

3Sprinkle cut surfaces with salt.

4Blend together butter, corn flake crumbs, parsley and garlic.

5Make upright cuts part way into tomato halves.

6Spread corn flake crumb mixture over cut surface of tomatoes, pressing mixture gently into upright cuts.

7Bake in 400° oven for about 10 minutes.
