- 5 to 6 apples or peaches, sliced
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 egg
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 5 slices bread
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Place fruit in 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Cut crusts from bread slices and cut each slice into five fingers. Place bread over the fruit.

3In bowl, mix sugar, flour, egg and margarine.

4Pour over bread.

5Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg to taste.

6Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
