Beat egg whites until stiff, add cream of tartar and sugar slowly.

Fold in crackers and nuts.

Bake in well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan 25 minutes at 350°.

Cool.

Spread Dream Whip on top with cherries.

Chill 5 hours or overnight.
