- 1 frying chicken
- spices to taste (salt, pepper, sage or poultry seasoning)
- bread crumbs
- barbecue sauce
Directions

1Cut up frying chicken into 8 pieces or quarters if small. Rinse and leave wet.

2In a bowl, mix seasonings.

3Coat chicken well.

4Place coated chicken in oven-safe pan.

5Do not overlap pieces.

6Sprinkle bread crumbs on chicken.

7Bake until brown in 400° to 450° oven.

8If chicken seems dry, add a little barbecue sauce or water.

9Cover with aluminum foil.

10Reduce oven to 250° or 300°.

11Bake until done, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
