- 2 lb. flat cut brisket (not a corned beef brisket)
- 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
- 2 or 3 large onions, sliced
- 1 can beef broth
- water
Directions

1Place brisket in a deep, rectangular pan.

2Enclose the meat in tinfoil.

3Sprinkle with onion soup mix.

4Place sliced onions on top of meat.

5Cover and seal with tinfoil.

6Cook approximately 2 hours at 350°.

7Then take meat out and slice diagonally.

8Put back into tinfoil.
-
9Add beef broth and cover.
-
10Bake another 2 hours. Meat should fall apart and be soft and tender when done.

11If meat looks dry when baking, add water.
