- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 unbeaten eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 c. nuts, broken in large pieces
- 1 c. well drained cherries, cut up
- 1 c. chocolate chips
Directions

1Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.

2Cream together the brown sugar, white sugar and butter.

3Blend in the unbeaten eggs.

4Beat well after each egg.

5Add the vanilla; beat until fluffy, then add flour mixture with 3/4 cup milk.

6Begin and end with flour.

7Blend well after each addition.

8Stir in the nuts, cherries and chocolate chips.

9Grease and flour bottom of jelly roll pan.

10Bake at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes.

11Frost while warm.
