  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup pitted black olives
  • 1 cup basil leaves
  • 3 anchovy fillets
  • 1 tablespoon capers, rinsed and drained
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 (3 ounce) cans tuna in olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • black pepper

Directions

    In food processor, chop garlic, Add olives, basil, anchovies and capers and process until pureed.

    Scrape down sides of bowl.

    With motor running, drizzle olive oil and process until incorporated.

    Transfer to a serving bowl.

    Add tuna with its oil.

    Mix well.

    Add lemon juice, and season to taste with pepper.
