Tuna Teriyaki

  • 2 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tsp. minced, pared ginger root
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 1/4 lb. boneless tuna steaks
  • 1 Tbsp. each: rice vinegar and freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. Chinese sesame oil

Directions

    In shallow medium mixing bowl (not aluminum*), combine teriyaki sauce, vinegar, lemon juice, ginger root and garlic.

    Add tuna and turn to coat.

    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate, turning occasionally, for at least 1 hour or overnight.
