Turkey Au Gratin

- 10 lb. boneless turkey breast
- 7 lb. broccoli
- 1 lb. butter
- 4 c. flour
- 2 qt. half and half
- 1/2 gal. milk
- 4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 3 Tbsp. garlic powder
- paprika
Directions

1Cook turkey for 3 1/2 to 4 hours at 350°.

2Cool for 15 minutes.

3Slice thin.

4Steam broccoli 4 minutes.

5Melt butter in a large pot over very low heat.

6Add flour to melted butter; blend. Cook mixture for 10 minutes, stirring often to prevent burning. Add half and half, milk, cheese and garlic to flour mixture; stir until well blended.

7Allow to cook until mixture thickens (10 to 15 minutes), stirring often.

8Add water if necessary (a thick cheese sauce is desired).

9Arrange broccoli spears in a large roasting pan.

10Drape turkey slices over broccoli.

11Pour cheese sauce over turkey and broccoli until all is covered.

12Sprinkle lightly with paprika.

13Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 350°.
