- 2 lb. ground turkey
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 c. finely chopped onion
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes (undrained), cut up
- 1 or 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
Directions

1In a 4-quart Dutch oven, brown ground turkey in oil.

2Add onion and cook until crisp-tender.

3Add tomato sauce, cut up tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, garlic salt, cayenne pepper and ground pepper.

4Mix well.

5Cover and simmer for 2 to 3 hours or bake in preheated 325° oven for 1 to 2 hours, until mixture is hot and bubbly.
