- turkey drippings
- turkey, chicken or giblet broth
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- salt
- ground pepper
- cooked giblets, chopped fine (optional)
Directions

1Pour turkey drippings from roasting pan into 4-cup measure. Remove 1/4 cup fat from drippings.

2Place in saucepan.

3Skim off and discard remaining fat from drippings.

4Add broth to drippings to make 4 cups.

5Blend flour into fat until smooth, then gradually add drippings.

6Cook and stir until gravy comes to a boil and thickens over medium heat.

7Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add giblets.

8Makes about 4 cups.
