Turkey With Squash Dressing

- 1 (19 oz.) pkg. cornbread mix
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 2 c. Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned stuffing
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 stick melted margarine
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sage
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 3 c. broth
- 2 c. shredded cheese
- 3 slightly beaten eggs
- 2 lb. cooked squash, drained
- 12 to 14 lb. turkey
Directions

1Prepare cornbread mix according to directions; cool on wire rack.

2Mix with herb dressing.

3Saute onions and celery in butter until tender.

4Add salt, pepper, cheese, eggs, squash, sage, sauteed onions and celery to bread mixture.

5Add broth.

6Remove giblets from turkey; rinse turkey with cold water and pat dry. Sprinkle cavity of turkey with salt.

7Put stuffing into turkey. Brush turkey with vegetable oil.

8Cook at 325° for 4 to 4 1/2 hours, covered.
