- 4 medium turnips
- 3 Tbsp. melted margarine
- 3/4 c. cubed ham
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
- 1/2 c. crushed cracker crumbs
Directions

1Peel and dice turnips.

2Cook in salt water.

3Drain and put in 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.

4Brown ham in margarine.

5Add flour, salt and pepper.

6Add milk gradually while stirring ham mixture. Cook until thickened.

7Stir in soup.

8Pour sauce over turnips and top with crumbs.

9Bake at 350° until bubbly (about 15 to 20 minutes).
