- 2 lb. fresh turnip greens
- 5 slices bacon
- 4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Wash greens thoroughly.

2Drain.

3Tear into bite size pieces. Combine greens, bacon and water in a Dutch oven and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.

4Add vinegar, pepper flakes, salt and

5pepper. Cover and cook an additional hour.

6Remove bacon slices before serving.
