  • 1 pkg. devil's food cake mix (18 1/2 oz.)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 1/2 c. pecan halves

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375°.

    Combine all ingredients, except pecan halves; blend thoroughly by hand to form firm dough.

    Place cluster of 3 pecan halves on greased cookie sheet.

    Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place in center of pecans.

    Flatten ball slightly to press into pecans.

    Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 4 to 4 1/2 dozen.
