  • 12 Twinkies, cut in half
  • 2 boxes instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 large can fruit pie filling (blueberry, pineapple or cherry)
  • carton Cool Whip
  • nuts (optional)

Directions

    In a large bowl, mix pudding and cream cheese well.

    It will have some lumps.

    Lay Twinkies, filling side up, in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch dish.

    Pour half of pudding mix over Twinkies.

    Then half of fruit filling.

    Repeat; top with Cool Whip and nuts.

    Refrigerate.
