- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. warm water
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 7 c. flour or more
Directions

1Beat the first 4 ingredients until foamy.

2Add the shortening, salt and flour.

3Knead just enough to mix well.

4Let rise until double in bulk.

5Make into buns.

6Let rise again; bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 400° to 450°.
