- 1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 stick margarine or butter
- 4 egg whites
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- dash of salt
Directions

1Mix egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch, dash of salt and pineapple. Beat this mixture, then add milk and margarine.

2Cook until thick.

3Pour into a baked pie shell.

4Beat egg whites.

5Add dash of salt and 2 tablespoons sugar; put on pies and brown.
