- 3 to 4 carrots
- 1 parsnip
- 1 onion
- 2 potatoes
- 1 rutabaga
- chopped fresh parsley
- pinch of saffron
- 2 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Boil meat in salted water about 1 hour.

2Remove scum from water and keep boiling.

3Cut up vegetables and add to boiling meat.

4Cook about 2 hours.

5Keep adding water.
