- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans beef broth
- 1/2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/4 c. diced carrots
- 1/4 c. diced onions
- 1/4 c. diced celery
- 3/4 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 lb. beefsteak, cut into small chunks
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
Directions

1In a large saucepan, melt butter.

2Stir in flour until smooth. Cook and stir mixture over medium heat for 1 minute.

3Add beef broth all at once.

4Cook and stir the mixture until bubbly.

5Add frozen vegetables, carrots, onions, celery, Kitchen Bouquet and pepper.

6Bring to a boil.

7Reduce heat; simmer covered for 10 minutes.
