  • 1/2 head cabbage, chopped bite-size
  • 2 c. chopped cauliflower
  • 1/2 bunch chopped celery
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 3 large sliced carrots
  • 1/2 pt. tomatoes or 2 fresh tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 envelope onion or vegetable soup mix
  • parsley
  • basil
  • bay leaf
  • dill
  • NO salt

    Just cover vegetables with water.

    Add spices, but no salt. Put lid on pot and simmer 20 to 25 minutes until vegetables are tender.
