  • 3 c. cooked lentils
  • 1 c. plain bread crumbs
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 c. cooked spinach
  • 1/2 c. chopped carrots, cooked
  • 1/2 c. chopped green onions
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar
  • 1 Tbsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • 8 wheat buns

Directions

    Combine lentils, bread crumbs, egg whites, spinach, carrots, onions, Cheddar cheese, salt and pepper in a bowl.

    Shape into 6 equal patties.
