Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage or kielbasa, cut in 2-inch pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 head cabbage, finely sliced
  • 1 red pepper, sliced in strips
  • 1 large zucchini, sliced in 1-inch strips
  • 1 onion, sliced in thin rings
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. chicken broth
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/2 lb. spaghetti
  • salt and pepper to taste

    In a large pot, lightly brown sausage in margarine.

    Remove sausage from pot, set aside.

    In same pot, add cabbage, stir-fry 10 minutes; add pepper, zucchini, onion and garlic, stir-fry 5 more minutes.

    Stir in sausage, chicken broth, water, salt and pepper.

    Mix well.

    Add cooked, drained spaghetti and toss. Serves 8.
