- 3 lb. ground venison
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 (12 oz.) can beer
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeno, finely chopped
- 5 Tbsp. chili powder
- 4 tsp. ground cumin seed
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
Directions

1Use a heavy cast-iron or aluminum pot with tight fitting lid. Brown meat in oil. Add 1/2 can of beer.

2Cook browned meat, covered, over low heat, about 1 hour.

3Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
