  • 3 lb. ground venison
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 (12 oz.) can beer
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, finely chopped
  • 5 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 4 tsp. ground cumin seed
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

Directions

    Use a heavy cast-iron or aluminum pot with tight fitting lid. Brown meat in oil. Add 1/2 can of beer.

    Cook browned meat, covered, over low heat, about 1 hour.
