Ingredients
- 2 lb. venison, cubed
- 1/4 c. oil
- 10 c. water
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 large carrots, chopped
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 4 medium potatoes, skinned and cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. ground garlic
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1/4 c. flour
Directions

1Trim fat from venison and brown in a skillet with oil.

2In a large kettle, boil 6 cups of water.

3Add venison, bay leaf, carrots, celery, potatoes and onions.

4Boil for 20 minutes, then reduce heat.

5Add curry powder, lemon juice and ground garlic. Cover and simmer for 3 hours.

6Add sliced green peppers.

7Add flour to thicken.

8Serves 4.
