  • 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 2 14 teaspoons active dry yeast (one 0.25-oz packet)
  • water (to make it thick, see directions)

    Sift the flour and yeast together, and add enough water to make it into a thick batter-- there's no exact measurement.

    Set it uncovered in a warm place for 24 hours.
