- 9 egg yolks
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. cake flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions

1Beat egg yolks until lemon colored.

2Add sugar; beat well. Add flour, salt and vanilla.

3Beat egg whites until frothy.

4Add cream of tartar and beat until very stiff.

5Add egg yolk mixture to whites, folding carefully.

6Pour into large ungreased angel food pan.

7Bake 1 hour at 300°.
