Ingredients

  • 1 loaf unsliced French bread
  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 bag shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 jar Ragu

Directions

    Slice bread lengthwise of loaf.

    Take out inside of bread leaving the shell.

    Be careful not to break outside of bread, leaving a little in the crust.

    Brown sausage and ground chuck; drain.

    Add Ragu and simmer a few minutes.

    Fill both loaf sides with meat sauce.

    Cover with cheese.

    Put loaf back together.

    Wrap tightly in foil.

    Place on cookie sheet.

    Bake 30 minutes at 350°. Serve hot.
