Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can Van Camp's pork and beans
  • 1 tsp. yellow or Grey Poupon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. Texas Pete
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 3 squirts ketchup
  • 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • sprinkle of oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • dash of pepper vinegar

Directions

    Fry bacon; saute onion in grease (make sure bacon is crisp). Add beans; stir in other ingredients.

    Simmer 10 minutes.

    Crumble and add bacon.

    Serves 1 to 4, depending on how much you eat.
