  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1/3 c. cooking oil
  • 1 c. cold water

    Sift dry ingredients into an 8-inch square pan.

    Make 3 holes in the mixture.

    In the first one, add the vanilla.

    In the second, add the vinegar.

    In the third, add the cooking oil.

    Add 1 cup of water to the whole mixture.

    Stir with a fork until blended and bake in a 350° oven for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes.
