Cabbage Casserole

  • 1 small (5 to 7-inch) head cabbage
  • salt to taste
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 3 c. corn flakes, crushed
  • 1 stick margarine, melted

Directions

    Parboil cabbage, salting to taste. Drain. Mix soup, milk and mayonnaise. Set aside. Mix corn flakes and margarine. Put 2/3 of corn flake mixture in bottom of 2 or 3-quart casserole, then the drained cabbage. Pour the soup mixture over this and top with the rest of the corn flake mixture. Bake at 350° until bubbly, about 30 minutes.
