  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 3 c. flour, sifted
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. nuts, chopped fine

    Cream together butter, eggs, brown sugar and vanilla.

    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

    Stir into creamed mixture.

    Add nuts.

    Form into rolls.

    Wrap in foil.

    Chill 10 hours.

    Slice thin.

    Bake at 425° for 7 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
