  • 3 c. water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 lb. bacon, cut in thirds
  • 1 small bottle ketchup
  • 3/4 c. white sugar
  • 1/3 c. light brown sugar

Directions

    Wrap chestnuts in thirds of bacon.

    Line cookie sheet or broiler with foil.

    Bake 20 minutes at 350°.

    Turn and bake 10 minutes.

    Combine ketchup and sugars for sauce.

    Place chestnuts in sauce and bake 25 minutes at 350°.

    Can be frozen before baking or after.
