  • 1/2 box Duncan Hines white cake mix
  • 1/2 box Duncan Hines French vanilla cake mix
  • 1 1/3 c. water
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. self rising flour (recipe for making this at end of recipe saves buying 5 lb. of it)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 4 eggs

    Mix all together.

    Recipe called for 3 greased and floured round pans.

    To Bake at 350° (optional choice greased and floured 13 x 9 pan), until cake tester comes clean.

    Good with seven minute frosting.

    Store in Refrigerator.
