- pinch of nutmeg
- 4 Tbsp. Crisco
- 1 egg
- 1 c. currants
- milk
Directions

1Beat egg with enough milk to equal 2/3 cup.

2Add to sifted dry ingredients, then add currants.

3Add Crisco.

4Mix thoroughly. Drop onto cookie sheet.

5Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
