   grease and flour 8 by 8 inch pan.

   double the recipe for 9 by 13 inch pan.

   combine dry ingredients in bowl.

   add liquid ingredients gradually, beating until smooth (starting on low and increasing to high).

   beat about 5 minutes.

   bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes.

   toothpick test.
