  • 1 1/2 sq. white chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cream together butter and sugar; add melted chocolate, then eggs, beating well.

    Add sifted flour, salt and baking powder alternately with buttermilk.

    Fold in vanilla, pecans and coconut. Bake in three 9-inch pans for 45 minutes at 350°.
