  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 1 3/4 c. candied cherries
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1 box white raisins
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 small bottle vanilla flavoring
  • 1 small bottle lemon flavoring
  • 4 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar; add well beaten eggs.

    Chop fruit and nuts; mix with 1 cup flour.

    Sift together remaining flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture.

    Add fruit, nuts and flavoring; mix well.

    Pour batter into tube pan, lined with brown paper or waxed paper and greased.

    Place in cold oven and bake at 300°.
