  • 34 cup onion, diced
  • 12 cup red pepper, diced
  • 3 -4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 14 cup basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 12 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 12 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 34 cup frozen spinach, thawed and cooked
  • 2 cups alfredo sauce (I use a jar of Classico four cheese)
  • 0.5 (375 g) package lasagna noodles, cooked (Dreamfields works well)
  • 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground chicken, cooked
  • 12 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 12 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    In cooking oil, sautee onions, red peppers and garlic until soft.

    Mix in jar of alfredo sauce and cooked meat.

    In a bowl, mix together ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, spinach and basil.

    Layer meat mixture, then noodles, then cheese mixture.

    Repeat.

    Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan.

    Bake for 40 minutes.
