- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Melt butter or oleo and blend in flour, salt and pepper.

2Add milk, gradually, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens, then cook 2 to 3 minutes longer.

3Place over hot water to keep warm and cover tightly to prevent film from forming.

4Makes about 1 cup of sauce.
