  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract

    Beat Crisco, sugar and egg whites until fluffy.

    Add soda, salt and flour.

    Mix buttermilk, vanilla and almond extract in with other mixture.

    Pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
