- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 4-1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 3/4 teaspoons Cream Of Tartar
- 3/4 cups Butter
- 1 whole Egg, Beaten
- 1 cup Milk
Directions

1Combine the flours, baking powder, sugar, salt, and cream of tartar. Cut in the butter. Then add the egg and milk.

2Knead on a floured board and roll to 1 inch thickness. Cut into 2 inch diameter biscuits.

3Place in a greased pan.

4Bake at 450 degrees F for 12 to 15 minutes.
