Ingredients
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 4 pkg. yeast
- 2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
Directions

1Mix first 3 ingredients and let stand for 10 minutes.

2Add to remaining ingredients.

3Using mixer, beat together until well mixed.

4Using a large spoon, work in 5 more cups of all-purpose flour.

5Knead about 5 minutes.

6Place in a large greased bowl. Let rise 1/2 hour.

7Turn out onto lightly floured board and knead just enough to work out air bubbles.

8Let rise 2 more times for 1/2 hour periods.

9Knead to work out air bubbles after each rising period.

10Be careful not to work in too much flour when kneading. Shape into loaves.

11Place in greased loaf pans and turn over so tops will have oil on them.

12Bake 1/2 hour at 325° until well browned.
